The Food Pantry of Saint John the Baptist is fully funded by the members of our parish. It is run by volunteers and there is no overhead, so all money given to the pantry goes to feed those in need. At the present time, approximately 90 bags of groceries are given on a weekly basis. Below, you will find a list of food items that regularly appear in a bag. If you are so inclined, please feel free to bring these items to the food pantry on Wednesday mornings before 9:30 AM. Monetary donations are also welcome and may be delivered to the Rectory Office.
Food Items Regularly Needed
soup (crackers), pork and beans, vegetables, fruit, peanut butter (or jelly), tuna, ramen noodles, macaroni and cheese, a meat dish (spaghetti with sauce, ravioli, beefaroni, beef stew, chili etc.), graham crackers.
